Last year was the first time I ever decorated for fall. It was fun buying pumpkins and fall floral and I learned a few things that definitely influenced how I am planning to decorate this year. I am really excited for fall weather, pumpkin spice everything, and candy corn. Truth be told, I’ve already decorated. I haven’t put out my front porch decorations yet because I don’t want my neighbors to think I’m incapable of reading a calendar. I know the first day of fall isn’t until September 22nd but I was just so excited to decorate. For the patio last year I bought pillow covers, decorative signs, a garden flag, a pumpkin doormat, some ceramic pumpkins, and a floral arrangement. I eventually went shopping for real pumpkins and was very disappointed. Pumpkins (especially those pretty heirloom ones) are really expensive and might I remind you, real pumpkins rot.
