I have been weeding out all the Christmas decor I no longer want for a few years. I have purchased more Crate and Barrel garland after Christmas for a few years and I did purchase a new tree after Christmas last year, but for the most part, I haven’t bought anything new (I’m not counting Christmas tree lights because one set dies every year).

Oh wait, I did buy a few more greenery stems this year so, okay, I lied but that’s it.
I have never decorated the bedrooms before but I had enough garland, ribbon, and greenery to branch out. Honestly, a little greenery and ribbon really gets the job done. No need for a ton of figurines or extra decor.

We are going to replace this ridiculous light fixture at some point. It wasn’t supposed to be this low and on this short ceiling, it’s a good thing we aren’t tall people.

A bed frame and headboard/footboard is probably something I should invest in, keeping in mind that this is not my forever furniture and hopefully not my forever house. The room is so tiny so the bed I would like to have would not fit.
I did finally decide to buy some bedding. I really should steam my duvet and shams but that’s just really not a top priority for me.

This bedding was in the other room but once I purchased the cognac quilt and shams, I decided that what was in this room originally matched better so I swapped everything over.

I love this console. I wish it was in a room people actually saw.

The hallway turned out pretty this year. I really like this greenery.

Although the textured walls gave me some issues, for the most part installation of the greenery over the frames wasn’t too bad. Instead of trying to fight 3M Command Strips, I just used the Command hooks with painters tape.
