PB&J Pretzel Burger

This is not a new concept, but here’s my take on the peanut butter and jelly hamburger. I used a peanut butter with honey (Skippy Natural with Honey), and the cheese I had on hand which was an asiago, parmesan, and Romano mix.

I only had grape jelly but I bet other flavors would be good. The red onion gave a little kick but definitely not necessary.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1lb Ground Beef
  • Lawry’s Seasoning
  • Pepper
  • Peanut Butter
  • Jelly (grape, strawberry or raspberry)
  • Cheese (asiago, parmesan, Dubliner or sharp white cheddar)
  • Pretzel Buns
  • Red Onion (sliced)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Season your ground beef patties with pepper and Lawry’s Seasoning.
  2. Cook to temperature and add cheese of choice.
  3. Toast pretzel buns.
  4. Layer peanut butter on one side of the bun.
  5. Layer jelly on one side of the bun.
  6. Add toppings of choice. I used sliced red onions.
