Yogi Vanilla Spice Perfect Energy I received a bag a of Yogi Vanilla Spice Perfect Energy from my friend Carolyn during one of our “tea swaps.” The company describes this tea as a perfect energy boost. This is a blend of Green Tea and Assam Black Tea, as well as  Ayurvedic herbs Organic Gotu Kola Leaf and Ashwagandha, flavored with vanilla bean and spices. My review: Pretty tasty, smells nice, and is a nice coffee alternative. 7 out of 10. Republic of Tea Blackberry Sage I received a sample of the Republic of Tea Blackberry Sage in their catalogue. This tea is a blend of black tea, fruit, and herbs. Finest quality tea leaves mingle with sweet, fragrant blackberries and cool, soothing white sage. My review: It smells really good and I think it is a good evening coffee alternative. 7 out 10.  Yogi Breathe My friend Katie loves this stuff. Pumpkin Cake Muffins

Recently, I was browsing Pinterest and came across a recipe claiming two ingredients could make delicious, healthy muffins. After making a gunky mess, it was confirmed that in this case, it was in fact untrue. I ended up with a batter so thick there was no way I was going to get muffins as promised so I added some ingredients and ended up with these pumpkin-cake-textured muffins that are pretty good, especially with a cup of coffee. Ingredients 1 Box Spice Cake Mix 15 Ounce Can of Pure Pumpkin 2 Eggs 3 Splenda Packets 1 Tablespoon Nutmeg 1/2 Tablespoon Cinnamon 1/2 Cup Water Directions Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a muffin pan cups with non-stick spray or line with muffin tins. In a large bowl, whisk two eggs. Add spice cake mix, pure pumpkin, and beat mixture with a hand mixer. Add three Splenda packets, nutmeg, cinnamon, water, and beat until smooth. Scoop spoonfuls of mixture into muffin pan cups ( I ended up with 18 muffins). Best Pie Crust & Pecan Pie Recipe

This my tried-and-true, go-to pie crust recipe. This recipe has never failed me. It always stays together and tastes great. You can either make this the night before and put it in the freezer overnight (which works great) or you can make it and let it rest in the freezer for 30 minutes to an hour (which also works great). This Perfect Pie Crust Recipe is from Add A Pinch and though this year, my crust wasn’t as pretty, it stayed together which to me, is way more important. Now, on to the greatest pecan pie recipe of all time. Last year I was out of the best syrup in the world and had to use Karo Syrup for my Pumpkin Pecan Pie which was delicious but nothing beats Golden Eagle Syrup.
