Throughout the past year, I have found new things to update the living room. I’ve moved furniture to different places and I’ve tried switching up this layout but the room is a small rectangle, so this setup is really the only option I have.

This giant window needed another panel of curtains on each side. I love these curtains. I wanted the ones from West Elm but I found these at Macy’s on sale. They were less than half the price as West Elm’s.

I would like to replace the two cream recliners with a sofa or a loveseat, but for now, the room is functional.

I made some artwork for over the sofa and found some wall sconces that will eventually purchase and install.

The wall is big and looked empty, which wasn’t as noticeable in person but in a picture, it looked awful.

All that’s left to do is railing for the stairs. My plan is to do thin spindles and a pretty thin banister. I don’t want anything big and bulky because the room is pretty small and I want to keep it as open as possible.
