Healthy Cookies

I found this on Pinterest. The recipe said to use quick oats but I used old fashioned oats. I have to say, this is a pretty good healthy cookie. However, I think next time I am going to put some sugar in the mix (yes, that kind of defeats the purpose) even though the bananas and chocolate give them some sweetness they are a little bland. Even my husband liked them and it is great way to get rid of really ripe bananas.

Ingredients

2 large bananas
1 cup old fashioned oats
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions

In a bowl combine oats and bananas with a fork. Mash everything together until the mixture becomes sticky and then add in the chocolate chips. Mix the chips so they are evenly distributed and then with a tablespoon scoop out balls and place them on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. I would refrigerate the leftovers because they get kind of sticky once the cool.
