Rehearsal Dinner

In full BBQ style, my mom used these picnic style table cloths and we sat around our favors as place settings. Instead of a slideshow, we used the centerpieces and a tree my brother welded to present old photos of the couple hung with twine. We wrapped silverware in napkins and secured with raffia to match the bag of candy and jars. Though it poured down rain the food and company were great.

Rehearsal Dinner Favors

This is another wedding project. My mom decided she wanted to give favors for those who attended the rehearsal dinner. Since the rehearsal was a BBQ, she decided to give out sauce from a local restaurant and have Stephanie and Ryan’s favorite candy. We put the sauce in mason jars and cover the lids with red and white gingham fabric, tying raffia around the rim. After our night of “jarring” we packed the candy and made labels for the bags that guests could use to take home their favors. We also made the bride-to-be a bow and ribbon bouquet and 80’s style veil from tulle.

Brunch for the Bride

Together with my mom, grandmother, Aunt Susan, and Aunt Tiffiany, we hosted a shower for the bride-to-be at my parents’ house. My mother’s kitchen is filled with blue and white china. So, we hosted the bridal brunch with her French country style in mind using blue and white decor, floral arrangements, and when creating the invitations. The menu included fruit salad, breakfast casserole, muffins, and monkey/gorilla bread. Check out the bride’s chair and the super cute blue and white picks Tiffiany made.
