I kept seeing recipes for whipped coffee. I had some instant coffee so I thought I would try a recipe and just substitute the milk with half and half.
Well, I can’t decide how I feel about it. My coffee mixture definitely turned out darker and thicker than the recipe I used. Once I mixed the half and half with the whipped coffee, it was much better but it wasn’t impressive enough to try it again. I may look at more dalgona recipes and try it again with milk and a different type of coffee.
4 tbsp of instant coffee
4 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp hot water
Milk (I used half and half)
- Whisk together instant coffee, sugar, and hot water until peaks are formed.
- Fill a glass with ice cubes and top with milk or half and half.
- Top milk with a couple of scoops of the whipped coffee mixture.
