Pictures of Food

First, let me say, these are not all recent. I haven’t been just eating constantly for a month. Second, part of exploring a town you have just moved to is trying out all the restaurants you have never eaten at before so this is what we have done over the past three and a half months. Third, this is one of those annoying posts with pictures of food. However, they are all pretty presentations, not pictures of half eaten plates of food. I have also included pictures of the actual restaurants and commentary in the post. Just posting all these pictures made me hungry.

Ok, I have one exception. Yes, I have been to Cracker Barrel a million times. We have one in my hometown but there is not one in Fargo. On our trip back home last month we stopped in and it was so good.

This is the Samurai restaurant which (described on the sign outside) is an Asian fusion restaurant. I ordered shrimp tempura.

This is a chain called JL Beers which I had never heard of but was told their burgers were very good so we checked it out.

Smiling Moose Deli is another chain that I had never heard of and has become one of our favorite places. Their tomato basil soup is really good.

This is Kroll’s Diner and it is kind of like a Steak n Shake except way better. The portions are huge and the food is really good.

Famous Dave’s Barbecue is so good. Their corn bread muffin is sweet so I save it for dessert.
