Continuing my quest. This is the Passion Fruit Papaya black tea that forum contributors said tasted very similar to Panera’s Iced Green tea. So here is my review of the Passion Fruit Papaya…….It’s alright. On a scale from 1 to 10, I give it a 6.5. I guess the people on the forum just ignored the fact it was black tea and thought the passion fruit and papaya made it taste like Panera’s Iced Green tea. I added sugar and it is a nice flavored tea.
- If you like sweet tea, add sugar or sugar substitute.
- The longer you let it sit in the refrigerator, the better it tastes. Wait an hour after you make it to drink it.
- It doesn’t taste like Panera’s Iced Green Tea.
- You get 50 tea bags per container ($9 each). You need 8 tea bags for 2 liters.
In regards to other flavored black teas, I love spearmint tea. Bigelow’s Plantation Mint tea is great and of course I add sugar to it.
