We are in the 2nd phase of the coffee table. After welding the legs and sides together, my brother allowed the metal to rust in order to achieve a rustic finish. I have to say when I first saw it I was a little worried because it looked orange. But then he handed me a piece of sand paper and told me to get to work. We sanded the entire table, wiped it down with a wet cloth and then he applied a clear coat. The next step will be installing the wood planks which is my husband’s part of project.
